Manufacturing Facilities

We have sufficient loading and unloading facility at the raw material yard and area for storing different grade of steel separately using proper identification of each bar as per color code chart.

We carry out strict incoming inspection & testing of raw material like dimension, visual, chemical composition, physical properties, metallurgical testing etc. as per material control plan. We follow system of FIFO (First In First Out) for material usage.

We have a balanced facility to cut the material in required weight and length using circular band saw and cold shearing machines for uninterrupted feeding to forge shop as per production plan. Also we have hot shearing facility through induction bar heaters. We carry out quality inspection like Dimension, weight & visual inspection of cut blanks/billets prior to issuance for further process.

Forge shop is equipped with forging presses and hot rolling facilities in multiple lines. Raw material heating facility includes induction bar heating furnaces with automatic temperature controller (Three Furnaces). Installed capacity is 1200 MT forgings per month of various ranges from 80 mm O.D. to 650 mm O.D. and height upto 180 mm & weight 500 Grms. to 40 Kgs. from various grades of Bearing Steel, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel. Forge shop is supported by well equipped inhouse die shop(tool room) and data storing system.

In-house facility of Spherodize Annealing, Normalizing and Special Annealing etc. in electrically heated Bell type and Pit type Furnace in order to achieve customer's specified mechanical properties and grain stracture.

Apart form this temperature of all furnaces are taken in Data Logger and temperature of all furnaces are controlled by PID.

We are equipped with CNC Turning Centre of various capacity (OD 80 mm to 500 mm) supported by trained personnel and sophisticated measuring equipments, in order to supply components in fully machined condition where ever precise machining is required. Sun Forge Pvt. Ltd. posses a well recognized reputation for its machined components, which are supplied to manufacturers of precision bearings and various other equipments in India and several other countries. Fine tuned checks, especially at every stage of machining, are the feature of company's quality assurance discipline.

Also equipped with rough turning facility for supplying components without finish CNC turned condition as per customer's requirements. We carry out rigid stage inspection as well as final dimensional, visual & crack detection inspection, besides 100% checking to confirm raw material grade through grade sorter, prior to transferring finished products to packing & dispatch department.
